WOO HOO! I have cell reception in my room!

I live in the deep dark suburbs of LA, I've long battled with horrid reception from Sprint, and just returned an AT&T GSM phone. Switched it to a Motorola V60i (TDMA) and it gets full signal in my room. Loses reception at points in my house but works fine for now.

W00T! 😛

ok why is tdma better in most areas??? I used to have the atnt TDMA and the reception is MUCH better than my POS T-mobile

Besides the type of modulation it is the band they are on that makes the difference. 1900 is awful for hilly terrain. 850 would be best for that area. Sprint and GSM service is normally placed in the 1900 band unless a deal was made to swap bands which is very rare.
