I have two email accounts on HotPOP. I picked the name ToughGuy.net at the end for free. I have it set up with my Thunderbird. I don't use the old account. I use the newer one to sign up for different web sites and forums.
I was trying to get a job from vocational services. The person who worked from the services made a couple resumes for me and tried sending them to my newer HotPOP account. It didn't work, so it old them the older one. That didn't work. So I made a yahoo account, and the two emails with resumes finally went through.
They updated the resume with my references and tried sending them last thursday to my yahoo. It didn't go through.
When I said "they didn't work", that means i got no email AT ALL.
Two weeks ago, I sent an email from one HotPOP account to the other, and vice versa. It took like 20 minutes to pick up the email.
This is nuts. I really need to get these emails if i want the job.
The yahoo account was also free, and I did not use it with Thunderbird, since its pop service costed money.
REally, I don't like using Yahoo. The site layouts aren't that great.
