Won't Boot to Windows XP...

I just upgraded my computer. I installed a new motherboard (shuttle ak31 v3) and processor (Athlon XP 1700) w/512mb pc2100 ram. I am dual booting to Windows XP and Me. After installing the upgrade I can't boot into XP. WinMe booting fine and loaded all the new drivers for the board automatically, but XP just hangs. Just a black screen.
Does anyone have any idea why this would happen to XP and not Me??
Any suggestions on how to fix the problem??
Thanks.

you might try booting off of the xp cd and run the repair option, i'm sorry I dont remember the exact process, I've only run it once just for curiosity...
