Heya,

I got a comp that used to boot occasionally, but now it doesn't boot at all. I have taken the mobo out of the box and tried it using the bare parts of a memory stick, vid card, ps and cpu. I know the vid card, memory and ps should be fine since I have tried them with other systems b4. So, its either the cpu or mobo, but dunno which one. What is your opinion on this? I get nothing, not even a beep or video. Its an at system using gigabyte tx3 mobo and k6200 cpu.

thx

When I had this happen it was a grounding problem. The posts were touching they shouldn't have. Try starting there.

yep, I considered that could be a prob so I removed the mobo and put it on a cardboard box and it still didn't run. So far I think the mobo is the prob.
