There was a power failure here recently while my computer was on, and now it won't boot windows xp - most of the time. It goes into the starting windows screen and then a BSOD flashes (too quick for me to read it) then the machine tries again. Once I left the computer off for a while then turned it on and it booted in fine, but right now it's not booting up at all.
Trying to boot in safe mode it also crashes (without any BSOD or anything) but I do see agp440.sys as the last driver it loaded- but I doubt that has anything to do with the problem.
Any ideas what I can do before reinstalling the OS? Sadly, I do not have a recovery CD...
