Hi,
I have a P3-700E, Abit BE6, 256MB PC-133, nVidia Geforce SDR(oldest), Quantum FireBall KX 20GB

wondering which is the bottleneck...

obviously my system is a Pentium 3 setup, if i need to change my cpu, i will need to change my motherboard and ram... so please gimme advices

thanks

Bottleneck for what? What do you think is running slow? If you are a gamer, the vid card is probably your bottleneck. If you do CPU intensive stuff, the processor.

actually i don't use this computer very often...

mainly for browsing and Counter Strike... playing MP3 and movies... Burning CDs....

eeee ..... no more, i think

The most pleasing and immediate feedback from upgrade components, for me, have been monitor and graphics card updates.

I recently upgraded from MSI-6309/PIII600@800MHz to KR7A/XP1600@1558MHz, effectively doubling cpu speed. The speed difference is noticeable in loading apps and games, but gameplay differences are minimal. I need another graphics card upgrade to really see the visual impact of doubling system speed. The cycle continues.

Hope this helps!
