wondering if there is a way to play playstation games on my computer

hey everybody,
i just bought this playstation game but my playstation is at home and i won't have it till christmas. i have a computer controller that looks ljust like a playstation one. i was wondering if there is any way i could put a playstation disk in my computer and play like a normal game?

playstation 1 game? there are playstation 1 emulators for the computer.
