So an Audi dealership in Toronto is giving away a one year lease. Catch is they are giving one key to the first 10 people to reach 2500 followers on twitter. They already have 7 who have hit. I just joined? Want to help me out? LOL, if I win, I will get Anandtech decals on the left side of the Audi covering the entire left side (that is a promise!) and post pics on here. I will leave (the decals) on there for the duration of the of the lease!

Anyone want to help a brother out? 🙂 I know haven't logged on in a while, but I've been forever lurking 🙂.

Ha, good luck. Takes a long time to build that kind of following unless you're famous or are tweeting for a major brand.
 
haha, yeah I'm trying to use the power of the internet aka forums to help me out if possible, and I gotta start posting some creative stuff on my twitter, I just deleted all my old messages and starting fresh
 
I'm pretty sure you can buy followers. I never signed up and I don't see what even makes it attractive to people in the first place, but good luck.
 
Couple of tips I picked up from someone who used to do social media for the Maple Leafs. Tweet something interesting everyday, talk to people, and follow back everyone that follows you (unless they're an obvious spammer or bot). That's it. No real magic to it, but it takes time and it's time consuming without an established brand or persona to back you up.

Followed you back 🙂 Thanks! Yeah I gotta get on it, I just deleted a bunch of tweets cause they pertained to inside jokes between me and my friends. Gotta start making good use of hashtags
