Any Orlandoans/ex Orlandoans, particularly those in the UCF area, remember the wrath-of-god hailstorm from back in March or April of 1992?
If you were there you would know what I'm talking about, the bigger pieces were literally between grapefruit and watermelon sized, the more plentiful smaller pieces were baseball size, it was pretty much moving horizontally with the sustained winds of 110mph and gusts over 200mph.
Too bad this was before the era of digital cameras........
Some people think I'm making this up, wondering if anyone here took photos. 18 inches of ice on the ground in Florida is a pretty rare sight.
