Wonderin if this is possible (router q's)

So in one room I got a Linksys BEFSX41 router in my comp room connecting my cable modem, comp, vonage modem, etc. In the living room I have a Linksys WRT54G that I have run wires too and have wired my tivo, network amp, xbox and so forth.

So being as I have the WRT54G doing wired duty at the moment is it gonna be possible to use the net connection going to it and have it at the same time beam it wirelessly to my Wii. I remember years ago wireless routers couldnt do wired and wireless at the same time, but maybe something has changed since then.

So long story short, wanna use the WRT54G both wirelessly and, uh, wired....ly

Any help?

P.S. Wooo! my first post in....somethin like 3 years im guessin

P.P.S. Man I been around since this was a UBB board and I only posted 36 times......sad

welcome back waldo.
you can indeed use the wireless features in the wrt54g. how are you using it now? do you have the cable from the main router plugged into the WAN port of the wrt54g, or one of the 4 lan ports?

Woohoo! thatnks fer the quick response!

Anywhozerwhatzit I got it plugged into one of the 4 lan ports, if I recall many moons ago when I did it I had a hard time gettin it to work on the WAN (or as its labeled 'internet') and thats why im doin it that way. Uhm.....so how I do it? change settings through the router?
