Wonderful Video About the Leica M

What an odd video.

Clearly he loves it, and that's great. To the average man, it's an expensive, difficult to use camera. It's an aficionado's camera. It has a place in the world, but it's far from the perfect camera he describes, at least by my measure.

Also, what's the point of having the girl playing the piano? And why is he wearing lipliner?

A couple of things:
* I hate that guy
* wtf makeup
* His style of speech is terrible. He needs to diversify his vocabulary. He also needs to sound more natural. His voice seems forced.

Good video. I just really really hate the guy.
I also agree: That camera is amazing.

DigitalRev videos are always a little odd. They do have some good ones though, like the recent one comparing the new Nikon 50mm 1.8G to the 1.4G.

The 1.8G v 1.8D was good as well.

I watched the Leica video and it didn't want me to lust over it. It actually help me realize, i wouldn't pay the Leica price.

The video is meant to be done in an artistic manner. I thought it was one of his best videos.

The piano I guess illustrates the refined nature of the camera. The background of Hong Kong also makes it that more interesting.

nice.. though i hate youtube, buffering at 1080 is not fun!

I'm not sure how old your computer is, but mine is about a year and a half (see sig) and I have no problem with 1080.

I think once the majority of the population catches up with computers and internet connections that can handle 1080, the professional quality video as seen above will be more commonplace. I've been saying, YouTube is going to replace cable TV.

I'm gonna guess that English is his second language and he learned it in a British oriented school. With that in context, his accent (or lack of one) is pretty damn good.

He was from England and I believe English is his first language. He does speak Cantonese though.

The girl, Lamby is from Australia.

I think his video is great. Like many others I don't enjoy listening to him for a long period of time, but I will give them credit for being the best equipment reviewer on youtube right now. Its not just their style but also they are gutsy enough to pour water on the 100mn macro and throw the Gitzo down the stair, and put his whole body weight on it. This in a way is unique to them.
