Wonder what it'd be like to play on a 65" on desktop.

Have an old 65" not working I can trash or repair and find a use for.

Hm. Probably immersive but too big.

I wouldn't go any bigger then 40" to 43", and that is with using 4K and 5K resolutions.

Its its a good TV with very low input lag go for it. If not pass. Input lag is everything and most TV's have input lag 4-5x or more of most monitors.

I play some things on my 75" but really anything other than games made for consoles is pretty tough to play on a really large screen. While you may think it would be awesome up close, it won't be. And at a distance PC type text is too small, and as mentioned input lag sucks for twitchy games, although depending on the game it might not be an issue.

How big is your yacht? I've never seen a 75" TV.

I already have the ad for the 75.1".

75.1 and 75 sets side by side each with their owners.

75.1 owner says to the 75 owners who looks about to cry, sympathetically, well picture quality matters too. Let's see how mine is.

He turns on his set, and the set shows a picture of big graphics flashing on the screen, "MY SET'S BIGGER THAN YOURS", and laughter plays.

When I lived in an apartment, I had my gaming PC hooked up to my 61" DLP for a while. I played some games on it and it was completely fine. Just don't sit a foot away from the TV.

It should be no different than playing console games on a TV.

My primary home PC has been connected to my upstairs TV for quite some time now. I primarily use it for movies and gaming anyway. It's a 70" KU6300 Samsung. Good input lag in PC and game mode. There's a huge thread on the HardForum were people use them as monitors (40" version mostly). The newer 2017 MU series has even lower input lag. Comparable to many monitors when in PC mode.

Nice. The old one I'm talking about is a 2008 1080p screen which I've used before as a PC monitor several feet away, but that's now going to be a newer TV.

I guess I'm just hesitant to trash the old 65".
