won id question

i had an id, and i got to be #1 on our dorm server, then i changed my CD key on accident, now im pretty sure my id is different. if i know my old won id, is it possible to somehow change it back to that old won id?

You mean you didn't buy the game and you're using a keygen of somesort? You really have to know what your CDKey is to get your WonID, there is no other way in finding it out besides trail and error.

the guy running the stats said he thinks they stats are based on alias. is that possible? i always thought it was based on ID

they are steam id's now, and as neilm said they depend on the cd key.

It should be name/IP pair based I think...At least that's my experience with other people using my machine to play games.

so if my name is the same, but a different ID, it will be on the same stats as my last id?

Stats are usually filtered by WonId and some by IP (or both), I know that ag-stats.net does that anyhow. But yea, WonId's are being done away with, like trek said... so you're rank of #1 will be wiped out anyway 🙂

I think so, because when I play on my server and change my name, I have 2 different stats. Just my 2 cents.

Doubt it, since all Id's are unique and names are not.
