hahahaha is anyone else watching this? How is this an Olympic sport? On the other hand, its fricking hilarious watching these girls doing flips and then *BOOM* - slamming into the mat or going flying when they mess up.

EDIT: OMG Canada finally wins silver! I had the wrong medal. Figures they can't even win a gold. 😛 No less, in a sport no one gives a sh!t about! That's 2 whole medals for Canada! Maybe if they melt this worthless medal, they can make a spoon!
 
Well if you can land a basic 'double back' on the trampoline without eating liquid food you have my respect...

It IS NOT EASY. A highly skilled and technical sport. Higher levels require alot of strength to keep the twists and turns going.

Yea I mean it is gymnastics - my sister used to do this along with the balance beam and other things - so it does require some skill. I was just having some fun watching it.

Man, do you ever quit whining? First Canada doesn't win enough medals, and now you complain about what they win. Personally i think 3/4 of all events in the Summer and Winter Olympics are a joke and shouldn't be in it, but it's still an accomplishment and require skills.

I thought you were ripping it out of Trampolining as a 'sport'. It is no less or more a sport then others imo.

It requires a lot of skill. It is tough to do.

Anything with either 'rhythmic' or 'synchronized' in the name needs to go away. Synchronized diving? I don't think so. Rhythmic gymnastics? Please! Olympic sports DON'T USE RIBBONS!
