Women in the workplace with an unfair adventage?

Ok, I'm only going to speak about engineering because it's the only field I have experience in and the only where women are so freaking lacking. But based on what I've seen so far from my and a few company I work the most frequently with, I have to conclude that almost ANY women has an adventage over men in the engineering field.

What I've noticed is that almost all women who have been working for over 10 years (except for the large vietnamese crowd, I won't discuss this but its an observation) are either management and above or are promoted more. The better looking ones(sometimes with obvious implants) tend to make upper management or fill high profile positions.

I'm just saying this for engineering only. I know people make a case about women making less than men doing the same job all the time, but nobody ever mention how women seems to shot straight to the top in a male dominated profession.

My conclusion,
If you have a daughter, send her to engineering school

Well, I'm not about to start complaining because it's about time the engineering field has changed from being a "Man's job." About being promoted and whatnot for their looks...I'm sorry to be the one to tell you, but it'd be a huge ****** up for a business' if the person weren't qualified for the job. If they picked someone who knew jack ******, the company would probably go under.

That is true just about everywhere in the corporate world. Same goes with guys- men that are taller and considered better looking will reach higher positions and make more money on average than short/ugly men. There are many qualified candidates, it's just that the better looking ones will tend to be more successful.

It's human instinct.
