I see the lid. Fake? My buddy just did this the other day. They were so pissed and came running out of the station. He got out like nothing happened and handed them the handle and drove away. He's a complete moron.
 
I think my dad and a friend of his did something similar to this. Almost set the gas station on fire trying to drive away with the pump still in the car. Not sure how much damage they actually caused :Q
 
LOL, I've seen that pic a thousand times, and I just now noticed that it's from here in Louisiana. Fscking figures.

You're right. I see it now. But what about the gas tank top?

If it's real, scary how stupid people make enuf to own a $50,000 BMW.
 
Related story:

A female friend of mine pulled into a gas station to get gas, except she parked with the gas tank lid on the wrong side. So she turned around a few times and parked next the gas pump again - and she was still on the wrong side! 🙂

i have been next to someone who did this. it was in Baton Rouge, a whole bunch of drunk teenagers were trying to steal some gas, but forgot the pump was still on the car before they hauled a$$. it was funny seeing the guy running out of the station yelling at them. and about 5 mins later i see them pulled over on I-10, 3 cops cars around them..

And, for those of you who care to know, it happened in Lafayette LA; or so I have heard.

Just for the few who live here in LA.
