Ok, got to go flying twice today, once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

Between the two flights, I stopped into Thumper's day job (she works in an office building). I surprised her with a dozen red roses and a box of chocolates.

Ok, now she loved them, but she yelled at me anyway. Seems I made the mistake of dropping in during "one of those days" and she was in the middle of dealing with two projects that "had" to get done today.

So I set them down on her desk, turn around dejected and started to leave. She comes running after me and apologizes. She says that it was really sweet, and she loves it when I do this, I just picked a terrible day for it. She emphasized that she wanted me to do this again, she was just swamped and didn't have time for it right then...

I say ok, give her big hug and kiss and she then tells me to scram... I start to leave and she then asks if I want to have lunch. Sigh... She is busy, but now she wants lunch? :)

So we go downstairs to the deli in her building and have a quick sandwich together. She tells me this is the highlight of her day and that she wishes I dropped into work more often.

Sigh...

Women are insane... But I love mine anyway...

That's it, just wanted to share. :)

I occasionally wonder:

If all men suddenly disappeard from the earth, how long would it be before there were no working cars, computers, appliances, etc left in the world....

Wow! You seem deeply in love with Thumper, Grasshopper. I hope the feeling stays that way. You're a nice guy, it seems.

P.S.: Yes, women too think that guys are insane, so the feeling is mutual. ;)

Yea, I am... I'm going to marry her some day... :)

P.S.: Yes, we know you think we're insane, I'd be inclined to agree with you too! ;)

Your boyfriend (you're a girl, right?) works too much too?

Let me guess, you'd rather have him around than the extra cash?

Me too! Money is nice, but I'd rather spend my evenings with her, even if that means we just sit at home and play Monopoly! :p

I miss her, she's stuck at her night job right now... Poor thing... :( I'd drop in on her there, but her boss there REALLY hates that, she almost got fired the last time I did that... :(

:) Once? Just once? Oh no, I like doing that more often... Been almost a month since the last time, I think she wanted to have lunch with me mostly to reassure me that she still wanted me to do it. Truth is, she probably really didn't have the time. :)

As for the hugs and kisses, we're very comfortable being affectinate in public. We don't get indecent, but there is nothing wrong with a big hug and a kiss and such when other people are around. I very much like physical contact with her, she has smooth, soft skin and she smells good. :)

Sigh..

Grasshopper- isn't she a single parent? if so, she works so hard because she's a responsible parent and doesn't want to burden you with her fiscal problems. Btw,you get 1,000 Geekbabe points for the roses and chocolate effort ;)

You know,I must tell you that at first I thought you were kinda goofy with all the "Thumper this" and "thumper that" stuff you post, I have to say though that you do rather grow on a person and I think Thumper's a lucky woman. However this doesn't mean I'm not going to help her kill you when she finds out you've been telling tales about her sex life on the internet :D

Btw,I'm so sorry about the loss of your baby, my daughter's best friend had this happen to her at age 16 and it was the most horrific thing imaginable :(

That is why she must NEVER find out about this place. :) Maybe when we're married and have kids... :D

I have NO ONE else to tell this stuff too... She knows all my guy friends... :(

I still cry sometimes... it seems both sureal and distant sometimes, other times it feels like it happened yesterday. I was 16 and had zero idea what was happening, I was freaked out when Jessica got preganet, then when they were killed, I just lost it... I became very bitter and hated the world and myself. I was a selfish, mean person for a long, long time.

9/11/01 changed that, after the pointless slaugher that day, I no longer could bring myself to hate the world, it seemed there was already enough hate to go around, and I didn't want anything to do with that.

I never would have met Thumper if it had not been for 9/11, so while it was horrible for those people in NYC, it was the best day of my life. I feel guilty for that, I don't wish to insult those who died that day. But it did change my life forever...

That all seems like it happened a thousand years ago, I sometimes forget how miserable I was, how unhappy I was... Thumper and I have been together for almost 8 months now, and I do not ever remember a time I was this happy. I know I sometimes sound sappy when I talk about her. :)

What happened 10 years ago might as well have happened in another lifetime, they did happen to me, but not to the person I am now. Sometimes it is so confusing... :)

This is also why I have this love/hate thing going on with God. Either he really doesn't like me, or he doesn't exist, or he likes me enough to spend his time on me...

I'm not sure which...
