How many of you know any women that play either video games or PC games. I dont know ANY. Most women i know think they are dumb. My 3 year old plays video games with me, but thats about it
 
i play video games..and computer games..and all kinds of games.

guess it's because I have an older brother who always made me play when I was little because he had no one else to play with.
 
I know girls that play them casually like when they're over at my place but none of them own any consoles or play pc games as far as I know. They like racing games....Halo is too confusing for them...they can't get the two thumbsticks to work in unison, but they try to play it anyway.

my girlfriend gave me her N64. she plays mario tennis, mario kart, zelda, mortal kombat (she loves that one 😀), she would also play bond with me, but i started to own her and got all pissy and wont play that anymore.
shes 23, but she will also sit there and watch football all day with me too.
i think i got pretty damn lucky finding her.

I know of none who enjoy playing them other than my 11 year old daughter who will play something like Frogger (arcade classic) or someting like that but nothing like Max Payne or Spiderman, etc. Those are the types of games my son's enjoy.
 
My roomate's girlfriend in college was in our Quake2 clan (she was pretty good). I regularly see 1 or 2 girls on the natural selection (halflife) server I play on. I never saw any girls in cs. My wife plays video games but isn't a gamer. She'll get a game and play the heck outta it for a while and just toss it aside. Especially kiddie games like from disney and the like. I used to know a bunch of girls in highschool who were Final Fantasy freaks. But in all we're still talkin less than like 25 or 30 females playing games as opposed to the vast majority of males that are out there.
 
My wife likes to play golfing and tennis games. Fairly simple controls and doesn't make her motion sick like many FPS or 3rd person games.
 
My mom like the shooters, she started with Doom 1 years ago, then 2, Wolf3D, Duke, Heretic, Hexen, Hexen2, Quake 2, Unreal, and a little UT against bots. She also likes the card and puzzle games, but not RPGs.

My brother and I got her a gf4 ti4200 for her birthday this year so she can play Unreal 2, RTCW, etc.
 
My wife and my friend's wife would play super bomber man on NES but nothing else. Well my wife played Mario cart when it first came out. I wish she would get into BF1942 so she wouldn't yell at me and tell me to get off the computer when I play all night. She is heavy into her Baby chat rooms and forums and she sells crap on E-bay all the time. Makes good money too.

I dont play games very often. But if I do... racing games are the games of choice. I also like trivia type video games.. like jeopardy and such. Other than that.. I get bored too easily on the others.
 
I play PS2 games with my girlfriend and she has a GBA. Mostly she likes stuff that we can play together otherwise she gets bored.
 
the ET clan im in has a female member, prolly the second best in the group (of 30 or so) at that.

a couple clans we scrim against have chick members. put some of the guys to shame on a regular basis.
 
Quite a few I know play Yahoo games. They only play that stuff when they're at work though... They don't do that on their "free time", so to speak.
