There's no such thing as a hate crime. It's a bullshit status that liberals made up to make themselves feel better as their black servant Jerome serves them coffee in the morning.

A crime is a crime. Why the fuck does it matter if it's racially motivated? Obviously, if I shoot someone in the face, I probably hated them, race or no race.

I have no problem with punishing people more harshly for racially motivated or hate crimes. Taser someone simply because they were there=you are charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Taser someone because they are Indian or black or Muslim=assault with a deadly weapon and charged with a hate crime. I don't see the problem here...other than ZOMG LIB-R-ULS IMA DIPSHIT MOUTHBREATHER WITH ONE TOOTH!!!

Holy shit, some of those prostitutes are homely. This chick looks like a cross between Dickie Betts, and Keith Richards :^D

It's a wonder she makes any money :^D

She makes it the same way Rush Limbaugh does, with her mouth. She's just thinner and more honest, is all.

I ask again: what does race have to do with it?

Let's say I shoot you in the face because you're a moron. Why should that be a lesser crime than if I shot someone in the face because they're black/indian/irish/mexican/etc?

Assault is assault, whatever the motive.

Our justice system is so fucked up. Hell, our country is so fucked up. All this "we have to treat every race equally" shit is being stepped on by "some races have to be more equal than others" bullshit like "hate crimes".

All people are equal, but some people are more equal than others...

No. That gets accounted for during sentencing. Assault is assault, and mitigating factors can increase the sentence towards maximum, or lower towards the minimum. No assault deserves more than the maximum allotted sentence, and there shouldn't be "addons" for thought crimes.

I understand your point. They could just raise the maximum allowable for basic types of crime instead of naming specific modifiers. But that makes it seem arbitrary and it could vary quite a bit one judge from another.
Motive is a core factor in a crime. The "addons" and degrees you see in law keep everything in the open and allow the prosecutor a very logical path to follow; if this than that. And from a practical standpoint, it gives the prosecutor more cards to play.
Also, aggravating factors increase sentence. Mitigating factors decrease sentence.
