Clearly that doctor doesn't deserve to be one.

"Sorry ma'am, you are no longer insured. Your medical insurance expired the instant you were declared dead."

Says the guy that wants to be declared dead just so he can get more love from his family and friends when he wakes up.

just think, all your friends and family grieving over you (that is, if you have any) and all of a sudden your back to life! oh man, can you imagine how much more love and affection you would be getting from everyone? lol
It is not the first time that happens.

One of my dad close friend was declared dead by the doctor at the hospital after a heart attach, and he woke up in the morgue to everyone surprise. I didn't believe the story at first till I talked to the guy. That was over 10 years ago and the guy still alive and well except that he lost a bit of motor control of 1/2 of his body.

I wonder if she had life insurance? Would she get to keep the money?

Also, is she exempt from taxes now? Or would her husband be considered a necrophiliac?

Could you imagine being the guy working in the morgue? Just "another day in the office" when what probably would be anyone's biggest fear in that profession, a person in a body bag coming back to life, actually happens...

It takes a while for all of the paper work to kick in an insurance doesn't come into play several months after death. In my dad case insurance didn't payout till it was a year after his death.

I'm sure that death certificate take more than a few days to make it way to the government (in my dad case it was about 2 weeks before the lawyers finish with it so it can be mail to the government).
