Dogs enter yard... DRT. That's what guns are for. Pit Bulls; called "shitbulls" around here in deference to the typical shithead that owns them, are exactly what they were bred to be. No amount of warm fuzzy family time will change that.

In Lake Worth, Florida this week, a 5 year old was attacked by a Black Lab mix. Her Pit Bull ended that rampage and almost killed the other dog after that Lab bit her face.

The Lab was euthanized. Despite cries to have the Pit Bull also killed, it was not.

There really aren't bad dogs, there are just bad owners.

What makes beagles a hassle is their desire to sniff EVERYTHING. A USDA beagle at an airport was so good it smelled the unopened bag of chips my mother had.

We had a beagle that came home acting sick because he had snake swallowed a hot dog at somebody else's place.He wasn't the dog who knocked the trash cans over but he got to share in the spoils.

The north american fighting pit bull is a different dog entirely.

Game fighting has permanently altered certain breeds. Look at the pit bulls in Europe, they have at least 1/3 body mass on average. So imagine whatever breeding it took to get that sort of mass might have also affected the dog psychologically.

These are practically undomesticated. It's like trying to say you can just pluck a wolf out of the wild and blame the owner for its behavior. It's not the owner, the breed has been made dangerous.

Also many none pit bull bites don't get fully reported. The media jumps on every pit bull attack/biting.

Situation sucks, but it sucks even more that the neighbor can be sued for this. It's out of their control that the neighbor's dog went on their side and out of their control that their dog killed the other dog in their own yard. And of course because it's a pit bull everyone is going to go ape shit and throw the book at these people.

Sadly in a civil court all bets are off, that's how you can be found not guilty in a criminal court only to be dragged into civil and sued and have them win.

Civil court is a sad joke/ money pit for lawyers. Guy here jumped a fence to break into cars, got chewed up by a guard dog and went to jail...............AND while in jail sued the dealership and K-9 company......was awarded 130K for his (self inflected) injuries.
