forget it.

NovaTerra, your type is why conservatives like myself still support abortion. It's a good thing you can hide behind a computer because it is obvious that you wouldn't dare say something like that to someone's face.

If anything the internet is just another haven for the pathetic five year olds that are only capable of one thing: ad hominem and personal attacks.

So 67gt500, you've seen this sort of depression and dealt with it, right?

Until you have, don't be so quick to judge.....

Now I'm not condoning the woman's actions; I find them horrendous. But to discount what she may have been going through is at least childish.

People don't just snap... her husband had to have seen a difference in her. She obviously wasn't getting very good treatment for her post-partem depression or this might not have happened.

Horribly tragic, and I really feel bad for what happened there... maybe she just flipped out, nobody will ever know.

There's a difference between killing yourself over depression and killing your 5 children.

<< If I hear another analyst discuss depression and attempt to link it to what this b|tch did to her family I will blow a gasket.

This is how schizos got a horrible reputation.. morons will have everyone in this country believing that those suffering from depression are borderline psychotic.
>>

And you got your graduate degree in psychology when, exactly?

Me too, I get depressed when ever I read one of your posts knowing that you'll probably continue to post your mindless drivel thinking somebody actually gives a rats ass what a pea brain like you thinks.

This would be one of those situations where you care enough to respond telling me how little you care.

Noteworthy.

Why thank you. I wish I could say the same about your posts but then I'd be lying.

Sorry about your tragedy, but displacing your anger about it onto other people and situations won't help you in the end. Sad really.....seek help from professionals.

<< Red Dawn,

Did you have anything particular to say other than your usual ad hominems?
>>

And do you have anything to say other than your usual trolling? I think you just don't work and play well with others.

the liberal analysts on cnn and msnbc right now are making excuses left and right.. I hear nothing about the lives of these five children.

She was suffering depression, that is not an excuse for what she did but an explaination. There is a difference. She obviously wasn't getting the support she needed for whatever reason. It is a bit difficult to say if she should be given the death penalty or not, she did kill her 5 kids but....yeah.....not sure....

Wow. The proof that there are more people in the U.S. that will look to make excuses and place blame on others rather than take responsibility is right here in this thread. The fact is: this woman was directly responsible for multiple deaths. For there to be ANY justice, she must be held responsible for those deaths. I don't know what should be done and I feel the depression should be taken into account, but to whine that it wasn't her fault because of her mental state is sickening.

On a similar rant, I am rather tired of the pathetic whiners that live in the U.S. today. Excuses, excuses, excuses.

The way that violence works, or the way that the Devil sneeks around and seizes control of everybody, is by infection, division, and disguise. First you subject people to a profound level of force (violence)to conform to inhuman and unnatural standards (aculturation). Then you create socially acceptable (disguised)channels for the rage that is the byproduct. This we call competition, that healthy pastime that is really nothing more than hostility. This divides us into winners and loosers, the loosers being those who can't keep their hostility within the accepted boundries that are psychically killing the winners. To be willing to die to the Spirit to win, and then to have some jerk come along who hasn't paid the price and wants to go the head of the class brings rage to the surface. They must be made to pay. They can't win and really live at the same time. The price of winning must always be demonstrated conformity to a psychally dead life of successful competition against others willing to pay the same price. Any mention of victomhood must be surpressed because any introspection into this matter brings us face to face with out own deadness. If we realized how badly we have been victomized, we would cry forever, or so it feels. But even an explanation such as this is useless because we fantasize we are the winners. There but for the grace of God....

Some drugs used in treating post-partum depression can have serious side effects on some people. They are known to cause psychotic episodes (schizo, delusions etc..). Kinda reminds us that our society is becoming a society of pills. Pills for this, pills for that, pills can cure anything :( .

How could depression cause you to kill your 5 kids? Wouldn't you get more depressed if your kids died? I mean, do you think she felt relief after doing it?
