i'd say you can't outrun a motorized wheelchair but all you'd have to do is run down/up some stairs.

An inquest has concluded that a 30-year-old disabled man who was killed earlier this year in Bloomington suffered 50 stab wounds.
if it was self-defense, wouldn't a single stab wound be enough to distract the guy and run away?

Motorized wheelchairs aren't friggin supercharged gocarts. They're slow. I walk about the same pace as most motorized wheelchairs.

I was chased by a weird disabled guy in a wheelchair once.. it went fast... long story, the kind you laugh about after... maybe it was tricked out or something. I was pretty scared though.

Actually, a LOT of motorized wheelchairs are pretty f'ing fast these days. Old ones were slow, but they've made them faster as a selling and "safety" point (safer street crossing, easier to get away from an attacker, etc)

"I kept stabbing him because he kept coming after me. It took a while before I realized his limp, dead hand was resting against the lever making the chair go forward."

My aunt had one that left scuff marks on the floor when it took off if you pulled the accellerator. She almost broke my uncle's leg when she first got it - she rammed into him at full speed and knocked him out when he hit the floor!

The really sad part is, she will claim PMS or a migrane and walk away free.

EDIT: Just more proof that "illegal immigints" are ruining this country :

The Honduran native is being held in jail in lieu of $25,000 bond. She also faces a federal immigration case after authorities accused her of entering the United States illegally.

Why would an illegal immigrant charged with murder be let out on bond? :|
