Happened to one of my teachers in H.S. She didn't show up one day, and the rumor mill eventually filtered down to the students - she had made an unexpected trip to the emergency room complaining of severe abdominal cramps only to learn that she was pregnant and giving birth!

She was very large, and apparently some of the symptoms of pregnancy can be mimiced or masked by problems associated with extreme obesity. Her husband was also very obese and imagining the mechanics of how this actually happened was the topic of many teenage nightmares :disgust:

Women who are extremely obese tend to lose their period, so a missed period wouldn't be unusual. Sounds like she craved food anyway...

A better question is: Who would have been willing to get her pregnant in the first place?

yeah, my gf worked with a person who had no idea she was pregnet. She just started vomiting at work and complained she has so much pain and passed out. She came back teh next day and told her boss she couln't work b/c she was pregnet. My g/f said she said "I am pregnet, so i am not sure what is gonna happen". My gf's boss just looked at the girl and said, "Ummm...you are gonna have a baby...."

true, 24% of all illegal immigrants live in cali, but 14% live in texas. I don't know that the 10% difference is enough of an impact based on both states high populations.
