"Current records show Sachs' malpractice standing hasn't improved. His official physician profile shows he has made 33 malpractice payments during the past decade, more than any other doctor in the state, according to a News analysis ofthe National Practitioner Data Bank public file."

Why does this guy still have a license to practice medicine?

$32,000 for the procedure - I always thought that nose jobs were cheaper than that...

I was thinking the same thing. Should have been revoked years upon years ago.

That's sad. That douche shouldn't even be allowed to practice, much less leave the jailhouse.

If you're getting elective surgery for vanity and you haven't bothered to check up on the person who's performing it and you get sick/die, well too damn bad. You suck. I saw something on dateline (?) about stupid women going to the philipines to get plastic surgery done at cut throat prices and getting poor service, including major problems and sometimes death. Geeze, you THINK?!

So what was wrong with her nose to begin with? Pic looks fine to me?!
Surgery is always risky - don't go under the knife unless you really have to. Not saying the guy didn't fvck up, but there is an inherent risk to anathesia & surgery and sometimes people die.

I think this also included an apartment to recover in for a few weeks so nobody knows that she was having it done

It's like that old joke "what do you call the person who graduated last in his med school class?" "Doctor."

A lot of these people have hang ups. The GF of a friend of mine had liposuction done on herself. I couldn't understand it because she was fat, big boned and prone to staying fat. Its not as if its going to make a difference for her over the long term.

She was brain-dead when she arrived in an ambulance at Roosevelt Hospital, according to her sister Agnes Kelly. Doctors there took her off life support two days later.

Wow, it didn't take 15 years and review by congress? They get things done quickly in Manhattan.
