I'm all about the freedom to follow one's religious beliefs, but this is just ludicrous. She's supposed to follow her husband's directives according to this 'religion', and so she's willing to drive 65 with her kid unrestrained because he said so? Any religion that would make someone act with complete disregard for the welfare of their child cimply because they were 'ordered' to sounds more like a cult to me. Let's hope the kid grows up smarter than its mother.

what amazes me what kind of parents put there kid at risk just because the other said so? if my wife pulled a stunt like that she wouldn't have to worry about what the cops did to her.

I would divorce her and get custody. no way would i let my kids stay with a nut job like that.
