What was the point of that guy posting a fake receipt with "Get a real job" written on it?

People do all kinds of weird crap just for attention.
Though I love seeing the irony of people saying be a real man and he should walk away, yet they froth at the mouth saying they'd like to hunt him down and beat him up.

??? what are you talking about? what video and what Receipt?

she did swing once. he blocked it. though i did not see her actually him him.

He blocked her right hook, but I think she got in a left, but he's between her and the camera so the left swing was harder to observe.

The video just proves how sexist people are. They don't care that she hit or tried hitting him twice before he hit her.

I won't say that his attack was unprovoked. But it's certainly not justifiable, especially in front of his children.
He should have handled the situation better by leaving. Only if she had continued to attack him while he was trying to leave and deescalate the situation, would he have been justified in returning with a hook.

I feel bad for the dog. I hope it runs away and finds a better home.

A real family man doesn't hit his woman little stuff like that. Too bad the children are there to witness that horrible event.

At the 29 second mark she swung at him and then at the 39 second mark she put her hands in his face. Pretty dumb of her to try and protect her tv when he was wrapping something up in his hands. Pretty damn dumb of him to hit her.

if the guy taped it, then what is the point of uploading it?

if the woman taped it, why did he go right for the camera immediately at the end?

It kinda came off as bad acting to me. If the kids weren't involved I would have guessed it was fake.

Insufficient information. Whose stuff was really whose? Were they divorced and he was packing the rest of his stuff?

Wow. Not one poster claiming they knew the race of the people involved before they even saw the video. :hmm:

They only post that when they watch the video 1st so they don't look like an even bigger asshat than they already are. I do though love how some act like they hadn't even watched the video or read the article but still post "I knew" any ways. I've yet to see a single time where a dude said that and he was wrong, which really makes me wonder...

Damn, poor guy.

I call it as: Long time (but not quite live-in) boyfriend gets kicked out. He videotapes his leaving to cover his ass against any vindictive domestic abuse/rape charge. Bitch comes in and starts laying in on him again. So he's already capitulated, he's playing off his packing to the kids so they don't get upset, and then she comes in, whips him a few times, tells him to do what he's already doing, and then goes off the deep end to stand squarely in the only path she's given him. When he rises to challenge, she doesn't work the problem (the collection of his stuff so he can leave); instead she doubles down.

The woman is waaaaaaaaaaaaay outta line.

Ladies, take note: Machine gun fault-finding with the total expectation of a win with every bullet because "the man is always wrong," can lead you into a bad situation. You are not entitled to wild, untamed, random emotions and to have every one be 'right' -- if you box the man in he may very well punch his way out. It is, after all, the natural and proper social correction to such a thing.

^^ not an argument.

/dismissed.

i want to murder that asshat

Why? Are you operating with the premise that a woman is somehow inviolable? That no matter how bad she gets, the only allowable response is one of complete passivity and capitulation?

Proscribed retreat when faced with the learned response of unchecked female aggression will result in her having an unending chain of broken relationships. Having every man just take off with nary a word doesn't really do anything for anybody. It destroys the idea of marriage as it says the man has no permanent place, while giving women very little to go on as to what a man is really feeling. If he'll leave if she ever pushes hard, how is she supposed to test his mettle?

Let men be men. Things work better that way.

Do you know how I know you'll be forever alone?

Do you have a challenge? No, you're apparently not bright enough to string the words together. So I guess your plan is to bore me to death. Wow, that's original.
