Yeah except you never know who you are dealing with. My cousin's wife is a skinny bean post who doesn't at all look threatening. But if you messed with her you would get fucked up quickly given that she is a kickbox instructor and has a black belt in karate

There are many of those running around, actually.

She obviously wasn't one of them, he knew that.

Still doesn't justify clocking a woman in the face like he did.

I was still surprised she was standing after that one.

I'm just out of this one more or less at this point.

Seems like quite a large number of white knights are confused. Should the football player be let off without punishment? Of course not, he does belong in jail for assaulting another person without a danger to his life and lose his opportunity at having a career in football. However, the stupid young woman should also be in jail for assault. That's the thing that white knights don't seem to understand, women do not deserve a free pass just because they are women, especially when most of them want everything to be equal.

Yes! Agreed! They should have both gone to jail!

Remember we're removing all such distinctions. Women are equal to men, deal with it.

Hey we agree. Funny thing is, i wonder if he'd feel the same way if a woman wouldn't stop hitting him or if she came at him with a knife, that's an awfully broad statement to make.

Perhaps if you had bothered to read my complete post only partially quoted here you would know the answer to this? (I'm pretty sure a knife qualifies as a weapon which can inflict serious injury)

Just sayin.

I don't think many or any "white knights" are saying she shouldn't be charged.
How the situation should have been handled after the hit: she hits him, he would have defended himself, walked away and told security. She would have went to jail; he would have still been playing foosball.

But no. He was drunk, high on testosterone, had a fists first mentality, was embarrassed a girl hit him, wanted to show his dominance, so he punched her like he wanted to kill her.
Now he's done and it's all his fault.

Ummm, maybe in the magically US of A, but elsewhere I have been, an ACT of violence does not include verbal threads unless it is a thread of death. Neither does a clenched fist constitute an ACT of violence!

Considering this incident takes place in the USA, I think it's appropriate to go by the laws of the land of which it happened in.

Why is she stupid?

She hit him for a reason and then he plowed her. Real gentlemen like. Can't take a bitch slap from a woman.

So basically your are saying that woman should NOT be a responsible adult? You are as well saying she should NOT be held morally and legally responsible for her action, simple because she is a woman?

One thing is certain if she is in another similar situation maybe she will behave rationally because she will remember there are consequences for bad choices, because she got the poop knocked out of her. That means instead of starting a physical altercation, she will go get a bouncer to complain to. That would be one adult solution.

...well, i never said anything of the sort, and I have no idea where you got that?
what I am saying, is unless your are defending for your life, there is no need to strike a woman,....if you are a real man!

Like the OSU player that raped a girl, and ended up at kicked off the team, now claiming that he has changed.

And he had tranfered to OSU because of a rape charges at his previous school.

Some athletes feel priviledged and that they are exempt from society norms.

Didn't watch the video so I can't speak to this particular case but if an adult punches someone I feel uncomfortable with the idea of only charging the person that reciprocated. Also find the idea of being kicked out for a first time misdemeanor excessive and knee jerk.

That anyone should have their career (or prospects) destroyed over a misdemeanor battery charge just seems wrong and if the guy was anything else aside from an athlete I doubt there would be so much calling for blood.

This is commonly misused. It should read 'A gentleman never strikes a lady.' The corollary to that is that a lady would never have any reason to strike a gentleman.

She has reasons to strike a Cad though.

Seems pretty clear that he is crowding her from behind, making contact and squishing her against the bar, for what I would guess trying to push passed people to get up to the bar. 1st contact initiated by him. She turns around, says something like "The fuck?? Don't be pushing me from behind and shit."

Am I missing something? Pretty clear he was the aggressor and she was standing up for herself, telling him to back da fuk off her, and it escalates from there, mostly because he refuses to back da fuk off her and starts putting his hands on her.

I think this video is another white & gold or blue & black dress...people see what they see and can't believe other people see it differently.

I'm just going with the chronology, who made contact with whom first (and the nature of it), what happened next or what did the other person do next, so on and so forth.

I didn't watch the video or see pictures, but if there was a disproportionate difference in size, that might make a big difference. I.e., if a little 3 year old toddler has a temper tantrum and hits you, you don't have carte blanche to knock the kid out with a right hook.

That really has nothing to do with it. He pushed her, she pushed him back to get space, she raised her hands to defend himself, he grabbed her hands, she finally hit him very clearly to defend herself and then he punched her back.

Really you should just watch the video though. Also the two guys to her right are the future men of America, big giant pussies who don't even get the fire in their eyes to help her out let alone do anything at all.
