Compared to Alien vs Predators 2 Wolf is disenyland

I had to stop (for the moment) AvsP because of wicked nightmares

System Shock 2 and Undying are the two games that come to mind when I think of creepy atmospheres.

Undying was a little to campy at times to sustain the fear factor for me, but I agree, it was good. Severence: Blade of Darkness had its moments too.

And to go with the classic games, the first time I played Doom, Alone in the Dark and Estatica.

Alone in the Dark was so cool at the time.
And Quake scared me too!

But, the scariest by a mile had to be EverQuest when I first started playing.
I was on a new server, so many zones were empty.
I got lost in High Hold Pass with a lvl 5 character... :Q

Yeah Everquest was a riot when it first came out. The first time I emerged from Nektulos forest into the commons, I met a quick end from a Griffin 🙁 What a game though, very fun to play for the first 6 months.
