Yo :)

Well, over the last month or two, I've been experiencing extreme connectivity problems to ET servers. On about 95% of the servers that I connect to, I'm sent back to the main menu with a message 'Valid CD Key Not Reaching GuidAuth Server' Ive tried disabling, and then re-enabling Punkbuster, tried to reg my key (/pb_cdkeyreg), Ive tried disabling Punkbuster and then getting it to try and generate a new key for me, Ive reinstalled ET, patched it with the 1.02 patch, everything that I can think of or Ive read about. Does anyone here have any solutions this very annoying problem? Thanks!

EDIT: Solved. Scroll down

reinstall?

me and the guys in my et clan get it from time to time; just reboot and it goes away, cant figure out why either, but its never been a severe problem

have you uninstalled THEN reinstalleD? or just reinstalled over an existing install?

Yea, I uninstall, then reinstall, still nothing. Occasionally I can get to like one or two servers, but I used to be able to connect to 100% of the servers..:(

C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain

copy the 'etkey' file over to the desktop (just in case)

then delete the etkey file from the dir

and then start up ET & enjoy the fragging goodness!
