Wolfenstein Demo is out

I liked Wolfenstein a lot myself, had a hub system sort of like ODST, and some good enemy types and weapons.

I've played through twice, will probably play it again at some point. The multiplayer is kind of chintzy, and I don't think the game is worth $50, but for $30, it's a good buy.
 
I played through the demo last night. Unfortunately it was extremely short. Not a big fan of the UI. That being said it seemed OK. Will probably pick it up when gets down to $20-$25.

I'm about 2/3 through this game. It's definitely worth the play if you're shooter guy. It was a must for me. Alot of COD influence, some RTCW dig site stuff, some Bioshock/Fear Hospital stuff. And then the usual special power crap. Nothing mind bending but pretty good to kill 12 hrs. I'd give it an 8 out of 10.
 
This is weird because neither Steam nor the official Wolf page have the demo. Why this website? Well after the virus check I'll give it a whirl. Heard it was terrible, though, which is too bad given the greatness of RTCW MP.

12 hours is actually very good.
I just did a run through of RTCW last week and it only took 4 and a half hours (according to the timer).
 
Alright, well it may be a little less. But I'd say it's got to be 10 hrs. Figure even if you pay $ 20 for it, it's $2 an hour. Cheaper than going to the movies or even renting a DVD.

Edit: Well, unless you go to the Red box of course...
 
not expecting much, although i loved RtCW (multiplayer only), but i'll give it a try.

they should've released a multiplayer demo like they did with RtCW. that made me buy the game.
 
played for a little and i'm actually pretty impressed. either that or my standards have gone down quite a bit.
 
I played through it - gameplay was pretty fluid..did anyone else have a little input lag, though? Feels like the game is just a split second behind my mouse.
 
Not really, didn't have a problem w/ lag. Much of the engagement can be done at range anyhow where it doesn't matter. The kar98 is an amazing sniper rifle.

It's definitely a solid title. Nothing innovative but they've rolled up just about every FPS cliche of the last decade.

That's exactly what I mean. You hit it on the head. I'm selling this (see sig) if anyone is interested. Never miss an opportunity to pimp out your FS/FT stuff.
 
it was okay but certainly didnt make when want to buy it right now. also this was the first time in a while that I got nauseous playing a game. even after just 15-20 minutes I had to take a break. in fact I had a headache for the next several hours after playing 😕
