As the Titel States:

This:

Wolf Claw II Ultimate Gaming Keyboard

or

This:

Belkin Nostromo Speedpad

Have been thinking seriously about the Nostromo for a long time, but just never took the dive. According to many people I have talked to though it is day and night in how much more functionaity it provides as well as extreme comfort. Of course space is always a issue as it seems 10 out of 10 desks these days build short keyboard/mouse drawers.

But of the two what do you think? I have a pretty good keyboard although I would extremely prefer to upgrade to something with a VERY soft click (Such as a Saitek) instead of this one that actually gets my finger tips sore after severa hours of use.

But if it was you which would you go with? The cool left side of the Claw or the extra room required by the Nostromo?

Oh and thanks up front.

QFT...

If you have the money to throw down, the Ergodex DX1 is the best input device, bar none. I love the one I bought. Makes a standard keyboard look puny.

Hmm maybe I am missing something on the Ergodex DX1. It just looks like a blank pad with a few big buttons. Does not seem to really have much in the way of a ergonomic standard hand layout. It does appear the buttons themselves would be very comfortable and easy to use but as a device layout it just seems to be missing something. Of course this is coming from someone who has never even seen it befor eyou two mentioned it and definatly never tried it.

Yeah Lung Expression I have been leaning towards the N52. Main reason is I have a decent keyboard and although the WolfClaw looks cool, I am not sure how well it would be for a standard keyboard. For instance I use my arrow keys alot, looking down at the WC II you can see that this would be a bit annoying as the arrow keys are worked into the other letters, similar to a laptop (And personally I hate that). So yeah it might be super in FPS and some games, but stepping back to games I use my arrow keys and numpad on and I dont think its going to be as impressive.

Thanks again for advice though all, I am still not sure so please keep suggestions, anvice and answers coming. Especially with info about the N52, the DX1 (I still have a ton to learn about it, I cant even seem to find decent pics of it in its full layout, that might be half the reason for my confusion, and any others you can think of.

Oh also there is one other popular device out there that directly competes with the N52. It is the Flexiglow Cyber Snipa. I had consider purchasing it as it looks like it would compete well with the N52 but the more I look at it the more I think the N52 is a far superior product. Why? Ergonomics. The N52 seems to shape more to your hand where as the Snipa is flat and would be much less comfortable after long periods of play. Or at least it appears this way.

Thanks again for all advice and please keep it coming. :)

Wolfclaw II.

I have used both, and the wolfclaw is a much better keyboard device IMO. If you can wait they are releasing something similar to the speedpad.

I got my Nostromo N52 from Circuit City a while back for only $25. It has a lot of flexibility and gives you access to more game functions with the scroll wheel and dpad.
