Today was the official robing ceremony of my campus' new Principal. So the president of UofT came down and had a ceremony. After the ceremony, he invited all the students who attended for a great dinner (sushi, salmon, salad etc.) What an honour...and our new principal is a confucian scholar and i had a lengthy chat with him about eastern tradition, shinto and bushido stuff.
Once in a life-time opportunity, even had profesional photographer to take photos of me and the president + principal
My friend, who is a physic gek, had a lenghty conversation with the president regarding superconductive physic or something like that.
Btw our new principal is Professor Kwong-loi Shun, he was the dean at UC Berkley's Faculty Of Letters and Science, maybe some of you here knows him.
