wanted the msi turbo but could not wait so i bought a Abit KT7a Raid and a 1.2 Ghz tbird on ubid for $264. Bought 2 x 256mb 150Mhz capable cas2 sticks from compuwiz1 (thanx for all your help). Did the pencil trick on the l1 and l7 bridges. core looks green and blue.Put it all together set it to 1.85v and 10 x 140. works like a charm. im now at 10 x 145 = 1450Ghz

i have never overclocked anything this easy.

never looked at it. I am just going to leave it installed. I dont wanna risk breaking the core

amazing overclock 🙂
whats that thing get in sandra?

and what do the 'L7' bridges do anyway? i didnt even know there was L7 >!?

Are u suppose to mod your l7 bridge for the voltage? i thought that you do the mod only if your mobo doesn't change the voltage. I modded my duron l7 bridge but somehow it doesn't work?

Overclockers UK are selling 1.1's guarenteed to 1.4Ghz. I expect when they get the 1.2's in, 1.5Ghz Guarenteed CPU's will be on their shelves. Oh lord, how I wish I had a bit more cashola at the moment 🙂

Nice setup and some great Sisoft scores ever run any 3D type stressfull benches on that rig. Man I'm starting to get tempted into trying one of those fire burners !!
