I have been looking to get a new case so I have been browsing the fs/t and a few other sites. I have seen a few cases where people where asking 200+...what in the h is so great about a case to cost a couple hundred bucks?
 
I have a friend thats sole life revoles around making custom cases (servers, gameing, set top box, systems) they run for $200+
I'm lucky he gave me one for my birthday. *luck* it has my "geek" name put in on the side 'Bonsai' and 147x on the front, i wish my camera was in i would have pictures.
 
If you get one good $100 case once, it'll last you for 6-7 systems and you'll be much happier than if you had bought new $40 cases all the way along.
 
My case was about $300. SFF cases are insane. Then again, they come with very specialized motherboards, power supplies, and cooling solutions.
