Hey guys, I was just thinkin to myself ... what would i do with 57 grand? lol :) i was checkin some out online, and DAMN... what nice cars, provided i lived in a magical world, i would like a 2000 Z06, a black convertable, of course :) all it would take would be winning 25 grand in the lottery, trading in my 95 firebird, and then legitimising buying a 12,000 difference in the vette :) seriously, has anyone ever owend or driven one on here? they are very beautiful cars.... say, what do they sell for used in the states? anyone know what kind of hassle is involved buying a vehicle form the states with me living in canada? just curious is all :)

Peace out guys :)

I had a 75 'Vette, does that count? Handled great, stupid fast (after an engine rebuild with some extra goodies,) chick magnet! Something about all that fiberglass drives em nuts. :D

I must say, out of all the american cars, the Corvette is the best of all. with viper at a close second.

the only prob, they tend to wobble at very high speeds. if you drive slow, though....it would definitely be nice!

Actually, I believe he drives a minivan.

He used to have a 'Vette, maybe more than one.

I own a '85 vette (showroom condition)

ya they are nice.
handle great, lots of torque and are good with mods

you can pick up like an 85-89 vette (L98) for about 13-16k canadian depends on the miles and body shape

for me, its a matter of personal preference, if i was to be graced with a vette, i would definitely want it to be a C5 ! much like if i was to get a trans am, It's gotta be an LS1 :) until then, i will be content with my V6 firebird!

<< dang 57 grand! I wonder how much it would cost to import a real RX-7 >>

Probably the same after customs and stuff. Too much money for too much trouble. Better off getting the new spec 13B and dropping it in our RX7... if you can even find that engine.

<< Z06 comes as a convertible now? >>

Nope

the 2002 Z06 has better CAT's, MAF, CAM and Tuning on it tho, 405HP..... My big thing is the higher flowing CAT's and better CAM those are big things and suck to do aftermarket.
