On Friday at work I was bored and browsing the net and saw one of those ads for "movie extras wanted" type of stuff, and I ended up at http://www.exploretalent.com . Since I've had a lot of different people tell me they think I could be a model or something I decided to just sign up. Two of the areas they have on their website were DC and Baltmore, which are close to me. I mean it was free so what the hell, why not. I setup my account and you post a picture of yourself, so I posted one of me from Aruba where it shows off that I'm pretty lean and muscular.

So today I get to work and they emailed me back saying that my picture was approved, however it doesn't show off my facial features much and to upload a new picture that is focused on my face. So I did that.

And today when I got home from the gym after work, my mom told me that someone from some "explore talent thing" called about an audition for some type of "tv something" (the things in quotes are my moms actual words). So I called them now (its too late cause I went to the gym after work) and they are closed, so I'm going to give them a call tomorrow.

It's kind of cool, but I really don't know what to expect heh.
 
btw, i call shens unless you hold up "ATOT" on a piece of paper during a commercial or tv show!

lol. yea i have no clue what this is about. i never pursued that kind of career or anything, but i get comments often about "oh you could be a model" and that type of stuff, so i said why not. and i love movies and would love to be in a movie, so yea, that would be cool if this was actually something.
 
After your $500 application fee you'll need to sign up 10 people up to work under you, after that you could be making $2000 a week.

My thoughts as well. 😉

I was approached to do modeling in my younger days in SoCal.

I always assumed it was a gay pick-up line...

(Though I was HOT! 😉 )
