The pink text on the right looks Arab. Aside from that I guess it's ok.

Canadian money looks too colorful, has some horrible images, and the numbers showing the value of the dollar look cheap. Overall, Canadian money sucks.]

Fixed.

Ok...
why was he looking at a Seattle news website in the first place? 😕 Komo4 FTW

Oh well, I bet you some day we'll have different colors for each american dollar 🙂

One of the biggest reasons that dollar coins didn't catch on was because, well, they *did* catch on. There were millions of idiots who horded and are still hording the last dollar coins (those gold colored ones.) I recall spending 4 or 5 of them in a store (to get rid of them.. lol) and the cashier's eyes opened up wide and she said "Are you sure you want to spend these? They're going to be worth a lot of money someday."

There are real silver dollars, I think they are called walking liberties. 1 oz silver, worth more than a dollar. 😉

argumnents against the phasing out of 1$ bills

1. Vending machines would need refitting
Actually, not that much, a large part of service call for vending machines are for stuck bill validators. Less maintenance costs that can then be reinvested into getting that extra coin working. (And companies making these have had a lot of practice in the past years in Canada when they switched to the looney, then the twooney) New machines don't have to get the extra bill validator (around 400-500$/unit) so more savings.

2. Coins costs more to produce
and last 10 to 20 times longer than bills

3. Coins weigh a lot
seriously, who keeps 25$ in 1$ bills? 1 and 2 euro coins are lightweight (aluminium is used in many). If you don't have pockets strong enough to keep 5$ in quarters, you bought a cheap pair of pants.

4. lot of fees for banks and business for recounting
in cash registers, the new coin would just go into the old 1$ bill slot.
when stacking bills, many banks require them to be faced up, that requires time (and money), not the coins which can be rolled up in packs of 25 in less than a 30 seconds. Coin-counting machines that take the 1$ coin would be quickly paid by the money saved on counting bills.

No duh fvcktard. I was just showing a example how Europes smallest paper currency is 5 euros. If American wanted to use coins for $1 and $2 they could not make anymore paper money for $1.
That may not make as much sense as you think, because America doesn't trade in Euros(dumbass 😛).

Great editing skills there Genius. Anywho, I think we all caught the gist of what you meant, though it does help to say it properly next time(dumbass).

Ironic, coming from a person who can't quote properly. 😀

Actually the serial on that bill is 00000000

Some people out there collect those type of bills and would pay more then $10 for that one.
