I never liked Obamacare that much, but recognized it was the best we could do with an obstructionist GOP that doesn't care too much about the health of it's citizens, but i might be enthusiastic if this is what they're saying it is. Best quote from the article:

Robert E. Moffit, a senior fellow at the conservative Heritage Foundation, said he worried that “the nationwide health plans, operating under terms and conditions set by the federal government, will become the robust public option that liberals always wanted.”

If this is true (and I don't see it as being so) I shouldn't boast too loudly that you had to rope people into something by being liars to get your way. Believe it or not credibility suffers, although in my case I don't find that there was much to begin with where partisan matters are concerned.

Is it? Probably not. Do I wish it were? Yes, definitely yes. The public option is something that is sorely needed to keep health insurance companies honest.

If true it is funny that Obama and the democrats were against selling insurance across state lines before they were for it with this public option. I would of rather they let every company sell across state lines than to letting the government choose who has a monopoly on that. That is why the idea of state exchanges was stupid set up 50 seperate markets. Should of been a national exchange were every insurance company could compete for customers.

Maybe what they meant by the commerce clause is that the federal government can BE interstate commerce.

If you allow the string of logic to be stretched thinner and thinner, you can get as far as you want :)
