Woah, Media player 6GB!?!

So I'm looking in my directories trying to understand why there is over 7GB in my doc and settings, and find a folder called "TRANSCODED FILES CACHE" under the directory Media Player holding over 6GB of data!?!?! How do I clear this out, and what is it exactly?
Anyone?

I'm using Linux on my current system but my work box has MP9 on it. I assume you're using MP10 because my system doesn't have this option but you can try...

Tools | Options | Choose Devices tab, Click Advanced button, click Delete Files button.

i love CCleaner!!! It wasnt able to nab those files, I just deleted them myself...that is one hell of a pile up!

As much as I like XP, I must admit it has this tendency to fill 'mystery folders' with stuff.

The day I realized Windows Restore was taking up over 6 GBs of space I disabled it for good, and now I just create one restore point every 3 weeks or so manually.
