Geez...I opened at work today(circuit city) and being Tuesday, I had to put out all the new releases...including 165 copies of Celebrity! That is insane. But after I got there, we were down to 164 :) We sold 40 of them by the time I left at 5...wow. I wonder if they break last year's record of 2.4 million in the first week?

Just goes to further prove that good taste in music is continuing to decline rapidly.

OMG! Million's of pre-pubescent girls running to stores screaming "Justin". What's the world coming to?

LMAO! :D

No kidding - I work at Target, and even though I worked a short shift - 5 hours - I must've sold a boatload of Nstync stuff.

That's exactly what it was, too. No screaming, but still and endless stream of little girls.

Have you picked up your copy of it yet?
Personally I intend to get it but I'm in no particular hurry. I'll probably buy it next week or so.

I was thinking about pre-ordering it with a gift certificate I had, but ended up buying an old Phil Collins CD instead. Maybe this weekend I'll pick it up.

And I don't usually scream, nor am I pre-pubescent. :D

Oh yes :) I popped it in the little cd player back in cameras and played it for most of the day :)

Hmm...well since I just had the CD on repeat the whole day, I don't know the names or numbers :) But there were a few with dance beats, I liked them :) I like this CD, it has more of an R&B/dance style than their older stuff. If they had always been like this, they'd probably have a MUCH wider demographic, but too many people just don't like them from before. Oh well.

Speaking of N Sync it's KIDDIE Jeopardy week where they have brainiac 12-year-olds on and one of the questions (or answers) was THIS GROUP'S SECOND CD WAS TITLED "COMING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS" and none of them knew who it was!!

They do know that 4 neutrons + 2 electrons + 8.313 protons make a godidldlyaiteron but not that!!

At the Wal-Mart I work at, we went through a pallet and a half of N*Sync from 12:01 midnight to about 4 PM. That's in addition to the few cases we ran through.

I'm beginning to think that some people actually like this group. ;)

Heh...is there a website that I can find out like daily sales for CDs and stuff? I know last year they were platinum after the first day, I wonder how they did this year? Sure seems like they did pretty well :)

I dunno, I doubt my little sister will buy it again. I "accidentally" microwaved the last one.

I was wondering who was playing that God Awful music at CC :) Seriously, the song "Pop" is pretty catchy.

I don't care for the song Pop personally.

Good, because that's what I tend to like.
