WOAH! Look at this graph! We're back to 30mbps out!

Wow a peak of 48Mbps! 😀

How often does the graph mentioned in the leadoff post get updated?

When ever you click refresh 🙂 ....I think ,I know it updates at least hourly

Thinks are going good! I was able to dump about 10 and download about 15 new work units at 10AM PST. The past few weeks I get nothing but timeout errors this time of the day!! 😀

Someone obviously upped the pipe for the data server (even if temporarily) for during the day... It was originally fixed at 30Mb (and over the past couple days, a misconfiguration had it down as low as ~16Mb).

<< How often does the graph mentioned in the leadoff post get updated? Is there a realtime way to monitor the same stuff? >>

It looks like it updates roughly every 5 minutes.

I'm sitting on 275 queued WUs for my 9 boxes right now. Not too bad.

But what's up this forum again? Seems to stop and hang every once in a while again. <sigh>

I just saw this in sci.astro.seti & alt.sci.seti:

"We've received enough donations from users to (at least temporarily) pay for
an additional 10 Mbps of bandwidth. So the University limit is up to 80, and
SETI@home will get at least 10 Mbps of that. There will still be connection problems
during the peak hours unless we get significantly more donations.

So thanks should really be going to the people that hit our donations page.
Thanks to everyone!

Eric J. Korpela"

Cool! 😀

I posted here last week suggesting we get some donation together, but nothing came of it 🙁

Might drag up the link and add this to it 🙂

I must of missed that thread😱 ,I'm not about enough!,but anyway thats a good idea ,a team donation could give us a little free publicity😉.
I'd be willing to donate a little but the only thing I'm not sure about is that it would only be a 'quick fix' ,this is OK if they have a permanent fix in the pipeline(I'm happy to help buy them a little more itme) but otherwise it would just be delaying the inevitable ,more bandwidth problems🙁 ,

Btw I'm going on holiday to Venice with my girlfriend for just under a week from Sunday🙂 so I'm gonna miss your thread again ,could you PM me the link?

Nice!!! 🙂

With the bandwidth back in the good (actually great) range why is OK still having problems?? He has ~1,500 WU backlogged at the present time?!?

That's what I was wondering...

I was wondering that too.......

I have almost 100 WUs of mine on his proxy. But without him, I would be dead in the water right now.

Orange Kid said there is some of the "old" queue left, and that he'll try to flush it this weekend. 🙂
