My bust... does it matter that it's an acquaintance on campus selling? And not anyone from the For Sale Trade or other online forums? Why are price checks against the rules by the way? I haven't been following hardware much and was wondering how much those items are selling for these days.

That other thread got locked down mad quick...

price checks are against the rules. Something to do with undercutting people on the FS/FT forum or something. It's been a while since I heard the specific rule.
 
yep, mine got locked, i didn't know why either, i was un aware, even though i'd been here a year, try another forum, or check pricewatch or another search engine
