The Grizzly and Grey Wolf are heading towards extinction. They are not healthy in the wild usually due to encroachment and hunting.

Dick: ""BLAMMMO," Oh sorry Al I didn't see you there. Well waddya know global warming has been fixed."

Cool pics ... still one of my life goals to see a wolf in the wild :)

And that's the only place I want to see one. Beautiful creatures.
My uncle owned a 95% wolf, 5% husky mix. Yea, it was a wolf, and it was terrifying. I was also somewhere around 10, but regardless.

Are you sure it was 5% husky? Closest possible would be 6.25% (1/16) husky, and that would mean that one of its parents was a wolf, and the other was 1/8 husky. That parent would have been the offspring of a wolf and a 1/4 husky, who would have been the offspring of a wolf and a 1/2 husky, who would have been the offspring of a wolf and a husky.

I believe they round with mixed wolf breeds.

The way the genetics fall though makes it unpredicatable sometimes.

How is 5% not possible? That's 1/20 husky.

Breed an animal that's 1/32 husky with one that's 1/16 husky, that's 4.69%. If you adjust the mix just right, you can get any percentage you like.
