Been like that for months now... :) They bought out Deja, and for some time only the most recent news posts were available, then they put back in the entire DejaNews archive and now it's searchable with the Google engine.

That happened quite awhile ago, February I believe. They bought deja's newsgroup archives and other assets including domain names, trademarks, and other stuff. It took them awhile to get the archives up, for a few months you could only search current stuff. But, now you can go back to 1995. Dumb thing is, its said "beta" since they opened the site. When are they going to bring it out of beta?

They still don't have all the features of deja news and I don't think you can post through it either.
Really really dumb imho. Why didn't they make it work before they went and destroyed dejanews.com ??
