Using a P4 M 2.4 Ghz Inspiron 8500 here...

Running under 100% load for the last 2 hrs + (Encoding video...) ... Both fans on at full .... running at 60 degree celius steadily (Range of 59-61).

No instability though!

Yep, when I used my notebook to crunch SETI 24/7 for 5-6weeks during a race I put it on my BYTECC NC-500 with one of the fans directly below the ram cover and it made a big difference in temps, having 60mm fans it is a bit noisy though, but no worse than the notebook fans, just compounds it is all.
