Woah confusing

triangle screw up I know it's logically impossible but I cant find the poblem....

They are not triangles, the 'hypotenuse' on each of the shapes is not a straight line.

On the top shape is it slightly bowed in on and the bottom one is slightly bowed out.

yeah the slopes of the hypotenuses are different, one is 3/8 and one is 2/5 so the top of the big shape is not really a line.
