wo this thing is very loud

I know that people already know this thing is loud, but I sort of assumed that people were just being anal about noise. But holy canoly I had no idea they would even make a fan THIS loud--I mean, what the heck good is pushing all that air if it sounds like that.

It seriously is like a jet plane getting ready to take off in my room, totally drowning out the music i was playing......just posting this to anyone who was like me and thought, "meh i don't care about noise, these people are all just being perfectionists" and bought the fastest fan they could find while ignoring the noise factor......you absolutely could not ignore this. I'm putting the stock fan on until I can get onto the desktop and control it.

If it seems to good to be true....
 
Well, another person learned his lesson. I'm actually using about 50 of them at the shop's servers. Luckily for me, I up the terminal *outside* the room. Very effective but loud.
 
Bah! Some kid brought this in at a LanParty with his newly built PC: 2 of them on a ThermalTake Tsunami, ALREADY loud enough. We told him to f*** off and play somewhere else by himself. So he left.
 
Those vantecs scream! I had one once, and I threw it at the wall and it shattered into a million pieces. What a piece of crap! I still find plastic shards near my desk.:disgust:
