WNR2000 - v1 or v2?

Got three of these from Newegg during their Shell Shocker deal. v2 is currently supported by DD-WRT. Trying to figure out how to tell if it's a V2 or V1 unit.

Picture is exactly as shown on Newegg, no "V2" after the model number on the label.

Edit: Well, I connected one to my laptop, and via the firmware revision number, it appears to be the newest firmware for the V1 units. The good news is, this firmware added support for WDS mode. The bad news is, that using WDS requires security to be set to WEP or NONE. Not good. In fact, basically unusable. Haven't mfgs gotten the news that WEP is easily crackable?

DD-WRT can do WDS with WPA-PSK, why can't Netgear?

I'm with you on this. I just got two of these that i bought before doing full research. They were cheap and now I know why...

My options are 1) segment my wi-fi and firewall...which i'm thinking about anyway...2) ebay 3) use them as point devices...but I don't really need two for that....hmmm 4) work with open-wrt, which is a really messy solution...and I'm not sure will fix the security thing.
