First of all I am glad that I came across this forum :D , I am very new to DD-WRT and have 0 Linux knowledge. I have somehow managed to get basic function going for my router like port forwarding and DDNS for my router with "DD-WRT" anyhow Now what I want to do is get this working on my router

http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=75275

but through my little research What I have learned is that I would need to make a USB drive a storage and so far I have format the drive with FAT32 and it is (Emprex 16GB) Drive, Plugged the drive in the router USB Port and also did this setting as follow

storagerg.jpg

As you can see it shows DISK Info not available

I have no idea what needs to be done if anyone can help me step by step in lame terms (Since I have 0 Linux Knowledge) would be great !

Thanks !

I'm unsure why you're asking this here instead of the DD-WRT support forum?

I did ask in ddwrt forum as well couple of days ago and no one has replied me there so I thought may be someone here can shed some light on this issue, also the usb does not auto mount when the router restarts so if someone here can help me out it be great

Thanks

It is Not clear waht you are looking for.

If your Question is how to have Per user live monitor using consumer Entry level Router, I am not aware of regular consumer devices that can do per user.

You need an expensive pro device or use a computer with server OS as your Router.

What I'm wondering is why you bothered with DD-WRT when the WNDR3700 can make attached storage available to anyone on your network. I have a 1 TB external and a 32GB flash drive I use with this router (stock firmware), and both can be seen and accessed by anyone in the house. Did this router not have functionality you needed under Linux before you flashed it with DD-WRT ?
